Dr Ruby Moharana, MS, FICO is a distinguished ophthalmologist and clinical researcher with an elite fellowship in Neuro-Ophthalmology, Pediatric Ophthalmology and Squint at the prestigious L.V. Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI)
Driven by a passion for translational research, Dr. Moharana authored a landmark study comparing pupil sizes in migraine patients, which was published in the Indian Journal of Ophthalmology (IJO). This seminal work has garnered international recognition, earning citations in premier global medical journals including Cephalalgia, Headache The Journal of Head and Face Pain, and Neurology and Therapy. A frequent contributor to international scientific discourse, Dr. Moharana has also presented these groundbreaking findings at the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) 2025 annual meeting.
